Our award-winning country pub with 10 rooms is in the picturesque village of Rickling Green, Essex. Found between the market towns of Bishops Stortford and Saffron Walden, and just a 10-15 minute drive from Stansted Airport, so close enough for a quick get-away but far enough away to just hear the birds, not the planes! Some might say, we’re perfectly located for business and leisure stays alike.

We proudly serve seasonal menus, crafted by our talented Head Chef and Owner, Harry Kodagoda, featuring local ingredients, real ales, and a brilliant little wine list.
