A Little Gem on the Green
“Stopped off on the way back from Stansted airport for lunch. Thought I was going to the other more famous Cricketers but glad we found this place. Andy the new man at the front of house was marvellous. He was both courteous and had a great sense of humour. Real ale kept well and there were no complaints about the the wine from her indoors. I had pork tenderloin and my wife had a beef burger, which were both cooked to perfection. Will definitely visit again.”
“I had an amazing first visit to this lovely pub and it will not be the last. The food and service was amazing! Well done to the whole team”
“Been frequenting this pub for a few years now. In addition to the fabulous location, they have recently taken on a new Bar manager who is a big character in the community and is already making an impact on the atmosphere, attendance and quality of service. We took the family for a meal this week and the place was vibrant and buzzing. The food has always been good but the service was noticeably improved, with staff attending quickly and engaging in a friendly and proactive manner… It is definitely a good time to give the Cricketer Arms a visit!”
